Grind & Pray is the lead single from East St. Louis rapper, Shawn Da General. It’s the first video from his album In Spite Of… released earlier this Spring. The song & video feature Freaky P.
Shawn’s music is faith-based and he hopes to inspire people with it. His album is a testament to staying encouraged despite what you might endure in your life. Grind & Pray is a tale of just that.
Missouri has a fast emerging artist on their hands with Maserati Skrill. A hustler's hustler, his harsh upbringing in the rugged environment of North St. Louis exposed him to the dangers of the streets. However, he did not let that exposure hold him back or limit his outreach. Enter Skrill's latest endeavor, the Orbit Did It directed visual for the biopic, "I Does It". Whether his with his close comrades or laid up in the bed with a dime piece pearling up a blunt, Maserati does it to the fullest. With a cameo appearance from viral phenom Bankroll PJ, this one is sure to be a hit. Check the video out below and download the DJ Infamous hosted mixtape "MAZI SOSA", the project this single is featured on.
