Prepare for the wave is the debut album by Elite Sqwad. The artists have a sound that sound different for the region. Have Mercy is the track that starts out the album and it hits heavy with the intro reminiscent of a gospel/church experience that moves into some real grimy street lyrics that hit harder than what I’m used to out in New Mexico. It has that East Coast meets West Coast vibe with some southwestern heat.
Every track on this project hits! These tracks are heavy bass, heavy bars, true speak that don’t play. Drug Dealers Dream got a production that most southwest musicians don’t be using right and this group do what they do and they do it right!
