New Music: Benji Reckless – Reckmore
The sound on this EP is good. It got heavy bass, and the rapper starts out this track XXVIII with some very catchy keys/synth whatever that sound is. Benji Reckless comes in with a piece about living, dying and getting high, he captures the entire current mood of hip hop in a simple but live hook.
The vibe that rappers have in this era is on point with what Benji is talking about. Not to say that he sounds like other artists but the general mood of the young crowd is a lot like what the subject matter is on this EP and for that it feels like Benji is tapped into what the people are feeling.
