TELLY DIVINE INTERVIEW
What kind of impact do you wanna have on music?
what do you want your legacy to be?
- I'd like my impact to be authentic. I want people to see that no matter what they going through that it's finally cool to be themselves now. I've always had the odds against me in the music industry but the moment i turned my flaws into motivation was the exact time where i knew i was going to go far. As far as my legacy i wanna be remembered as somebody who positively impacted the youth to better themselves and take risks in life. No matter what it is , it's not about talent , it's abou the being the hardest worker in the room!
Would you ever get into the battle rap circuit?
- Hell no , i can freestyle all day but let's not get to far ahead of ourselves . I grew up watching SmackDVD and WeRunTheStreets when the scene was heavy in Philly. Honestly Meek Mill and Reed Dollaz were my favorite battle rappers when i was just getting into music. So honestly they really inspired me to do pursue this career but i would never step into a world I didn't know about. It's all respect tho , personally i just know it ain't my thing.
How do you feel about the music coming from your city and state?
- Pennsylvania runs the game! We by far have the most talent. Especially in Philly there are so many artists , so it's tough making it out when the market it so saturated. Only the cream of the crop rise around here. I'm proud to say Wiz Khalifa & Meek Mill inspired my artistry in numerous ways. They the two biggest stars in opposite sides of the state but it's all P.A. at the end of the day!
Do you have any plans on maybe starting your own label one day?
- Of course that's exactly what i'm doing right now. 'Love All Fear None' is not only the name of my EP but the name of my company as well. When i released the project i wanted the brand L.A.F.N. to become it's own entity almost separating myself from "Prin$e Alexander". I have one artist from Congo that i'm working i'm looking forward to sign shortly!
Outside of music, What other plans do you have?
- Outside of music i wanna do a multiple things. First off let me shout out the first person who gave me in opportunity beyond music , Pat Patel. He hired me to work as a rep at the worst point of my life. He owns multiple indirect Verizon stores. So i really wanna do some kind of business with him the guy truly inspires me. Other than that i have a desire in starting a charter school for the arts as well. Within that platform i want to provide a way to educate people on things such as credit, banking , and saving money!
If you could collab with 5 artists, which ones would it be?
- Rick Ross
- Nicki Minaj
- Meek Mill
- Future
- Wiz Khalifa
Do you have any new projects coming soon?
- of course. i have a project that i'm self engineering right now. The complete opposite of 'LOVE ALL FEAR NONE'. It's going to be raw , melodic, and futuristic. I'm introducing a whole new sound to fuck people heads up.
